Abbie has always known she wanted to be in the beauty industry from a very young age. She would do friends makeup for school dances and watch makeup tutorials on YouTube in her spare time. She went on to attend Paul Mitchell, in St. Louis right after high school and joined every makeup team she could while attending school.

After graduation, she went on to follow her passion working as a makeup artist at Nordstrom in the cosmetics department. She has experience working for several prestige brands like Mac, Laura Mercier & Nars. Abbie then decided to pursue freelance makeup artistry, so she could be more client focused and less sales driven.Her love for makeup artistry grew as she gained experience working with more clients.

In 2019, she took the leap of faith and launched her career as a part time makeup artist specializing in bridal makeup and special occasions. Since starting in the bridal industry, Abbie has worked 100s of wedding. She is very passionate about making clients feel comfortable, heard and happy. Her goal has alway been to be full time in the beauty industry.

Abbie has since then taken lessons from multiple lead artists including Joy Loveless, Hannah Rudin, and Noelle. After taking lessons and mentoring sessions, Abbie was extremely motivated to follow her passion further and make her next career move as a protégé makeup artist at The Artist Edit. She is very excited to continue serving her existing clients in this collaborative studio space as well as welcoming new clients to her chair for many years to come.
