meet Alex

For nearly a decade, Alex has been helping clients look and feel their absolute best through makeup — but her journey into the beauty industry actually began with hair.

Growing up, Alex was a cheerleader for more than a decade and quickly became the unofficial “hair girl” on her squad. She loved creating hairstyles that made her teammates feel confident, and that passion for helping others feel beautiful only continued to grow.

During high school, she expanded her creativity by doing hair and makeup for drama club productions, and she’s been hooked ever since.

Alex's  story

Today, Alex is known for her signature soft glam makeup looks that enhance her clients’ natural beauty, leaving them feeling elevated while still looking like themselves.

Of course, if you’re dreaming of full glam, she has you covered there too. Her goal is to always make her clients feel like the most confident versions of themselves.

While she loves makeup and hair, Alex’s favorite part of her career is the relationships she builds along the way.

Creating a safe, welcoming space where women feel heard, understood, and supported is what Alex finds most rewarding.

Whether you’re chatting with Alex about pop culture, your latest travel adventures, music, movies, TV shows, the book you’re currently reading, or just catching up on life, she hopes every appointment feels like spending time with a friend.

Alex's clients often describe her as easy to talk to, compassionate, talented, a true girls’ girl, and someone who genuinely cares.

Before Alex decided to make makeup and hair her full time career, she earned her Associate’s Degree from Jefferson College.

She then began a successful career in corporate America, where she worked in recruiting, sales, and account management for over five years. Throughout that time, makeup remained more than a side business — it was the dream she couldn’t ignore.

On her 27th birthday, Alex made the life-changing decision to leave the corporate world behind and finally pursue her passion full-time by becoming an artist at The Artist Edit and enrolling in cosmetology school.

Although starting over at 27 was one of the scariest decisions she’s ever made, she says it’s a decision she would make a hundred times over. She truly believes that when you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life — and helping others feel confident, beautiful, and seen is exactly where she’s meant to be.

After graduating from Paul Mitchell this summer, Alex is thrilled to be in the studio nonstop — creating makeup and hair looks that will leave her clients feeling and looking amazing.
